4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Zerone Corded Phone:
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the designated port on the left side of the phone base unit.
- Connect the Telephone Line: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the 'LINE' port on the back of the phone base unit. Plug the other end into your wall telephone jack.
- Placement: The phone can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall. Ensure the phone is placed on a stable, flat surface for desktop use. For wall mounting, use appropriate hardware (not included) and align the mounting holes on the phone's base with the wall plate.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Making a Call
- Lift the handset.
- Listen for a dial tone.
- Dial the desired telephone number using the keypad.
5.2 Receiving a Call
- When the phone rings, lift the handset to answer the call.
5.3 Redial Function
- Lift the handset.
- Press the REDIAL button to automatically dial the last outgoing number.
5.4 Caller ID and Call History
The phone stores incoming and outgoing call numbers. Use the navigation buttons to review call history.
- DEL: Deletes the currently displayed call record.
- OUT: Reviews outgoing call records.
- UP/DOWN: Navigates through call records.

5.5 Call Waiting
If you subscribe to Call Waiting service, you will hear a tone indicating an incoming call while you are on another call. Consult your telephone service provider for details on how to switch between calls.
5.6 HOLD Function
- During a call, press the HOLD button to place the current call on hold.
- Press HOLD again or lift the handset to resume the call.
5.7 Setting Time and Date
The LCD display shows calendar information including real time, week, and date. To set the time and date:
- Press the SET button.
- Use the number keys to enter the current year, month, day, hour, and minute.
- Use the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate between settings.
- Press SET again to confirm and exit.
