Setup

Operating Instructions

1. Playing Vinyl Records

  1. Power On: Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to power on the unit.
  2. Select Phono Mode: Rotate the FUNCTION knob to "PHONO".
  3. Place Record: Carefully place a vinyl record on the turntable platter. If playing a 45 RPM single, use the included 45 RPM adapter.
  4. Select Speed: Adjust the speed selector switch (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) to match your record.
  5. Start Playback: Gently lift the tone arm from its rest and move it over the record. Lower the tone arm onto the desired track using the cueing lever. The record will begin to play.
  6. Adjust Volume: Use the VOLUME knob to set the desired listening level.
  7. Stop Playback: When the record finishes, the tone arm will automatically return to its rest (for most records). Alternatively, lift the tone arm manually and return it to its rest.

2. Bluetooth Streaming

  1. Power On: Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to power on the unit.
  2. Select Bluetooth Mode: Rotate the FUNCTION knob to "BT". The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  3. Pair Device: On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for "Victrola Metropolitan" in the Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
  4. Start Streaming: Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing. You can now play music from your device through the Victrola Metropolitan.
  5. Adjust Volume: Control volume using both your device and the unit's VOLUME knob.

3. AM/FM Radio Operation

  1. Power On: Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to power on the unit.
