Introduction
The 8Bitdo Gbros. Wireless Adapter allows you to connect your original wired GameCube, NES Classic Edition, SNES Classic Edition, and Wii Classic controllers wirelessly to your Nintendo Switch or Windows PC. This adapter provides a seamless gaming experience with your favorite classic controllers.

Setup

1. Battery Installation
The Gbros. Adapter requires two AA batteries for wireless operation. To install the batteries:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the adapter.
- Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Alternatively, the adapter can be powered via the included USB cable when connected to a power source or a compatible device.
2. Connecting Your Controller
Plug your wired GameCube, NES Classic Edition, SNES Classic Edition, or Wii Classic controller into the appropriate port on the Gbros. Adapter.

3. Pairing with Nintendo Switch
- On your Nintendo Switch, navigate to the HOME Menu.
- Select Controllers, then Change Grip/Order.
- Slide the switch on the Gbros. Adapter to the S position (for Switch mode).
- Press and hold the yellow button on the Gbros. Adapter for a few seconds until the blue LED starts blinking rapidly.
- The adapter will pair with your Nintendo Switch. Once paired, the blue LED will become solid.

4. Connecting to Windows PC
- Slide the switch on the Gbros. Adapter to the X position (for X-input mode, compatible with Windows).
- Connect the Gbros. Adapter to your Windows PC via the included USB cable or pair wirelessly via Bluetooth.
- Your PC should recognize the adapter as an X-input device.

5. Firmware Update
It is recommended to regularly check for and install firmware updates for your Gbros. Adapter to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with the latest system updates. Visit the official 8Bitdo support website for the latest firmware and update instructions.
Operating Instructions
Once paired, your connected wired controller will function wirelessly as a standard Nintendo Switch Pro Controller or an X-input controller on Windows.
- The Red Button on the Gbros. Adapter acts as the HOME button for Nintendo Switch.
- The Green Button on the Gbros. Adapter acts as the Screenshot/Capture button for Nintendo Switch.
- The S/X Switch allows you to toggle between Nintendo Switch mode (S) and Windows X-input mode (X).

Maintenance
- Keep the adapter clean and free from dust and moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the adapter to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Remove batteries if the adapter will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Adapter not pairing: Ensure the adapter is in the correct mode (S for Switch, X for Windows) and that batteries are correctly installed or the USB cable is connected. Try re-pairing by holding the yellow button.
- Controller not responding: Check the connection between your wired controller and the Gbros. Adapter. Ensure the adapter is successfully paired with your console/PC.
- Lag or disconnection issues: Ensure the adapter's firmware is up to date. Reduce interference by moving closer to the console/PC or away from other wireless devices.
