1. Introduction

The Adventure Force Ultra Exosaur Robotic Dinosaur is an interactive toy designed to provide imaginative play for children aged 3 and older. This robotic dinosaur features forward motion, bright lights, and realistic dinosaur sounds, activated by a simple push of a button. It is designed to engage children interested in robotics and mechanics, fostering creative roleplay.

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety information before operating the Ultra Exosaur. Keep these instructions for future reference.

• Age Recommendation: Suitable for children aged 3 months and up. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children.
• Battery Safety:
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
  • Insert batteries with correct polarity (+ and -).
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
  • Remove batteries if the toy is not to be used for a long period.
  • Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
• Choking Hazard: This toy contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard to young children. Ensure all components are securely attached.

4. Setup: Battery Installation

The Ultra Exosaur requires 3 AA batteries for operation. These batteries are typically included and may be pre-installed. If not, follow these steps:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the dinosaur.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Note: Always use fresh batteries for optimal performance. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.

5. Operating Instructions

The Ultra Exosaur is designed for simple, interactive play.

1. Power On: Locate the ON/OFF switch, usually on the underside or side of the dinosaur. Slide the switch to the "ON" position.
2. Activate Motion, Lights & Sounds: The toy is motion-activated. Gently tap or move the dinosaur to trigger its walking action, bright lights, and realistic dinosaur sounds. There may also be a "TRY ME!" button on the packaging or toy itself for initial activation.
3. Play: Engage in imaginative play, creating scenarios for the robotic dinosaur.
4. Power Off: When play is complete, slide the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position to conserve battery life.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the dinosaur with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the toy in water or use harsh chemicals.
• Storage: Store the toy in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the lights dim, sounds become distorted, or motion slows down.
