1. Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before operating this appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the base unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'OFF', then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding refrigerated foods into a heated pot.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. - Place the base unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.

- Place the glass lids on top of the ceramic pots.
- Ensure the individual control knobs are in the 'OFF' position before plugging the unit into a 220V electrical outlet.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Cooking
- Prepare your ingredients and place them into the ceramic pots. Do not overfill; leave at least one inch of space from the rim.
- Place the glass lids securely on the ceramic pots.
- Plug the unit into a 220V electrical outlet.
- Turn the individual control knob for each pot to your desired setting:
- LOW: For slow, gentle cooking over a longer period.
- HIGH: For faster cooking.
- WARM: To keep cooked food at serving temperature. Do not use the 'WARM' setting for cooking raw food.
- The indicator light above each knob will illuminate when the unit is powered on and the corresponding pot is heating.
- Cooking times will vary depending on the recipe and ingredients. Refer to your recipe for specific guidance.
- Avoid lifting the lid frequently during cooking, as this releases heat and can extend cooking time.
- Once cooking is complete, turn the control knob to 'OFF' and unplug the unit.
6.2 Serving
When serving, you can utilize the removable lid rests. Simply lift the lid from the pot and place it into the designated lid rest to keep your counter clean and provide easy access to the food.
7. Care and Cleaning
Proper care and cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your slow cooker.
- Always unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Ceramic Pots and Glass Lids: These parts are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the surfaces.
- Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the base unit, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- For stubborn food residue in the ceramic pots, fill the pot with warm, soapy water and let it soak for a few hours before cleaning.
- Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or reassembling.
8. Troubleshooting
- Unit does not turn on:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional 220V outlet.
- Check that the individual control knob is turned to 'LOW', 'HIGH', or 'WARM' (not 'OFF').
- Food is not cooking properly:
- Verify the correct temperature setting ('LOW' or 'HIGH') is selected for cooking. The 'WARM' setting is only for keeping food warm, not for cooking.
- Ensure the lid is properly seated on the ceramic pot to retain heat.
- Avoid frequently lifting the lid, as this can significantly increase cooking time.
- Food is sticking to the ceramic pot:
- Ensure sufficient liquid is used in your recipe.
- For easier cleaning, consider lightly greasing the inside of the ceramic pot before adding ingredients.
