Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the side of the range finder.
- Twist the battery cap counter-clockwise to open.
- Insert the provided CR2 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery cap and twist clockwise to secure it.
The device requires one CR2 battery for operation. A fresh battery is included in the package.
Operating Instructions
Power On
To power on the device, press the Power button (usually the larger, orange button on top). The internal LCD display will activate, showing the reticle and battery indicator.
Unit Switch (Yards/Meters)
To switch between yards (Y) and meters (M) for distance measurement, press the Mode button (smaller, orange button next to Power) while the device is powered on.
Range Mode
In Range Mode, the device measures the straight-line distance to the target. To use:
- Look through the eyepiece and align the reticle with your target.
- Press and hold the Power button. The distance will be displayed on the LCD.

Scan Mode
Scan Mode allows for continuous measurement of multiple targets or a moving target. To use:
- Press and hold the Power button.
- Slowly pan the device across the targets. The distance readings will update continuously on the display.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses and the body of the device. Avoid using abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use, store the range finder in its carrying pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery: If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the CR2 battery to prevent leakage and damage.
- Water Resistance: While IPX4 waterproof, avoid submerging the device in water. Dry thoroughly if it gets wet.
