Setup and Assembly
Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed below are present and undamaged.

Battery Installation
The Fluke 925 Anemometer requires one 9V battery for operation. The battery compartment is typically located on the rear of the display unit.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the display unit.
- Slide or unclip the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert the 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals).
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
Connecting the Vane Sensor
The vane sensor connects to the main display unit via a coiled cable with a connector.
- Align the connector on the vane sensor cable with the corresponding port on the top of the display unit.
- Gently push the connector into the port until it clicks or is firmly seated.
- Ensure the connection is secure to prevent intermittent readings.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- To power on the device, press the POWER button (usually marked with a circle and a vertical line).
- The device features an auto power-off function after 20 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
- To manually power off, press and hold the POWER button.
Display and Measurement Units
The Fluke 925 features two LCD screens for displaying measurements. You can select various units for wind speed, airflow, and temperature.
- Wind Speed Units: ft/m (feet per minute), m/s (meters per second).
- Airflow Units: CMS (cubic meters per second), CFM (cubic feet per minute).
- Temperature Units: °C (Celsius), °F (Fahrenheit).
- Use the UNIT SETUP button to cycle through and select desired measurement units.
Measuring Wind Speed
- Ensure the vane sensor is connected.
- Point the vane sensor directly into the airflow you wish to measure. Ensure the fan blades rotate freely.
- The wind speed reading will be displayed on the LCD screen.
- To hold the current reading on the display, press the HOLD button. Press again to release.
Measuring Airflow (CMS/CFM)
To measure airflow, you typically need to input the area of the duct or opening through which the air is flowing.
- Press the FUNC button to select the 'FLOW (area)' mode.
- Use the UNIT SETUP button to input the cross-sectional area of the measurement point. Refer to the instruction guide for detailed steps on area input.
- Position the vane sensor in the airflow. The device will calculate and display the airflow in CMS or CFM.
Measuring Wind Temperature
The Fluke 925 also measures the temperature of the air passing through the vane sensor.
- The temperature reading is typically displayed simultaneously with wind speed or airflow on one of the LCD screens.
- Ensure the device has stabilized in the environment for accurate temperature readings.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the display unit and vane sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the vane sensor blades are free from dust, debris, or obstructions that could affect rotation and accuracy. Use a soft brush or compressed air if necessary.
Storage
- When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage to the device.
- Store the anemometer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Battery Replacement
- Replace the 9V battery when the low battery indicator appears on the display or if the device fails to power on.

Troubleshooting
