4. Setup and Initial Charging

4.1 Initial Charging

Before using your shaver for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. The shaver operates on a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery and can be used cordlessly or directly from the mains power supply.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Dry Shaving

The SilverCrest SRR3.7 is designed for dry shaving only. For best results, shave before washing your face.

  1. Press the power button to turn on the shaver.
  2. Hold the shaver at a right angle (90 degrees) to your skin.
  3. Gently stretch your skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand upright.
  4. Move the shaver in small, circular motions over your face and neck. Do not press too hard.

  6. Press the power button again to turn off the shaver.

5.2 Using the Pop-up Trimmer

The integrated trimmer is ideal for shaping sideburns, mustaches, or for pre-trimming longer hairs.

  1. Turn on the shaver.
  2. Slide the trimmer release button (usually located on the back or side of the shaver) upwards to engage the pop-up trimmer.
  3. Hold the trimmer perpendicular to the skin and carefully trim the desired areas.
  4. Once finished, push the trimmer back into its housing until it clicks into place.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your shaver. Always ensure the shaver is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

  1. After each use, turn off the shaver and remove the protective cap.
  2. Gently tap the shaving head to dislodge loose hair clippings.
  3. Use the provided cleaning brush to brush away any remaining hair from the shaving head and the hair chamber.
  4. Replace the protective cap.

6.2 Deep Cleaning (Weekly/Bi-weekly)

  1. Turn off the shaver and remove the shaving head assembly. Consult your shaver's specific instructions for how to detach the head.
  2. Carefully clean the inner and outer cutters with the cleaning brush.
