Setup
Battery Installation
The CATIGA CD-2702-12 calculator operates using both solar power and a single LR44 battery (included). The battery provides power in low-light conditions or when solar power is insufficient.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the calculator.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, carefully remove the screw securing the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert one LR44 battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are correctly aligned as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Initial Power On
Press the ON/C button to power on the calculator. The display should show "0". If the display does not turn on, ensure the battery is correctly installed and there is sufficient light for the solar panel.
Operating Instructions
Basic Arithmetic Operations
- Addition (+): Enter the first number, press +, enter the second number, then press =.
- Subtraction (-): Enter the first number, press -, enter the second number, then press =.
- Multiplication (x): Enter the first number, press x, enter the second number, then press =.
- Division (÷): Enter the first number, press ÷, enter the second number, then press =.
Special Functions
- Clear Entry (CE): Clears the last entered number without affecting previous calculations.
- All Clear (AC): Clears all entries and calculations, resetting the calculator to zero.
- Memory Clear (MC): Clears the memory register.
- Memory Recall (MR): Recalls the value stored in the memory register.
- Memory Plus (M+): Adds the displayed value to the memory register.
- Memory Minus (M-): Subtracts the displayed value from the memory register.
- Square Root (√): Calculates the square root of the displayed number. Enter the number, then press √.
- Percentage (%): Used for percentage calculations. For example, to calculate 10% of 200, enter 200, press x, enter 10, then press %.
- Grand Total (GT): Displays the grand total of all results calculated using the "=" key.
Decimal Point Programming Sliders
The calculator features sliders for controlling decimal point behavior, located above the numeric keypad. These settings allow for precise control over calculation results.
- UP 5/4 CUT: Controls rounding. "UP" rounds up, "5/4" rounds normally (half up), "CUT" truncates (cuts off decimals).
- F 4 2 1 0 ADD2: Controls the number of decimal places. "F" (Floating) allows for a variable number of decimal places. "4", "2", "1", "0" fix the number of decimal places to 4, 2, 1, or 0 respectively. "ADD2" automatically adds two decimal places for currency calculations.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain the calculator's appearance and functionality, clean it regularly.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the calculator.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Do not immerse the calculator in water or any other liquid.
Storage

Troubleshooting
