4. Product Overview

5. Setup
5.1 Mounting the Light
- Attach the light's U-bracket to a standard light stand using the spigot connector.
- Secure the light by tightening the ergonomic wing screws on the U-bracket.
- Adjust the tilt angle of the light as needed and tighten the side knobs to fix its position.
5.2 Powering the Light
The Niova 600 Plus can be powered by the included AC adapter or optional external batteries.
- Using AC Adapter: Connect the power supply unit to the DC13-17V input port on the light. Plug the AC adapter into a suitable power outlet. Set the BATTERY/OFF/ADAPTER switch to 'ADAPTER'.
- Using Batteries: Insert two compatible NP-F series batteries (e.g., NP-F 750 Li-Ion 3600mAh) into the battery slots on the back of the light. Ensure correct polarity. Set the BATTERY/OFF/ADAPTER switch to 'BATTERY'.
5.3 Attaching Barn Doors and Diffuser
- Slide the barn door set onto the front of the LED panel until it clicks into place.
- If desired, insert the white diffuser disc into the slots on the barn doors to soften the light output.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
Use the BATTERY/OFF/ADAPTER switch to turn the light ON (select 'BATTERY' or 'ADAPTER') or OFF.
6.2 Adjusting Brightness (Dimmer)
- Ensure the digital display shows 'DIMMER'. If not, press the Dimmer/Color knob to switch modes.
- Rotate the Dimmer/Color knob clockwise to increase brightness (10% to 100%).
- Rotate the Dimmer/Color knob counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.
6.3 Adjusting Color Temperature
- Press the Dimmer/Color knob until the digital display shows 'COLOR'.
- Rotate the Dimmer/Color knob clockwise to increase color temperature (towards 5600K, cooler light).
- Rotate the Dimmer/Color knob counter-clockwise to decrease color temperature (towards 3200K, warmer light).
6.4 Using the Remote Control
- Press the 'CHANNEL' button on the light to select a desired wireless channel.
- On the remote control, set the corresponding channel.
- Use the remote control to adjust brightness and color temperature wirelessly. The remote control also features a display for settings.
6.5 DMX Control
