5.1. Taking Measurements

Once powered on, the device continuously monitors oxygen levels. The current O2 percentage and temperature will be displayed on the large LCD screen.

• Position the device in the area where oxygen detection is required. Ensure the sensor at the top is exposed to the ambient air.
• Allow a few moments for the readings to stabilize.
• The O2 concentration will be displayed in percentage (%).
• The temperature will be displayed in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F), depending on the selected unit.

5.2. Adjusting Alarm Settings

The AR8100 features adjustable sound and light alarms. To set or modify alarm thresholds:

1. Press the MODE button to enter the alarm setting menu.
2. Use the Up/Down navigation buttons to adjust the desired oxygen concentration threshold for the alarm.
3. Press MODE again to confirm the setting and exit the menu.
4. The alarm sound level is up to 80 dB.

5.3. Temperature Unit Selection

To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature display:

• Press the T/R button. The temperature unit on the display will toggle between °C and °F.

5.4. Power Off

To turn off the device, press and hold the Power button until the display turns off.
