3. Hardware Setup

3.1 Connecting the DVR

3.2 Hard Drive Installation (HDD Not Included)

This DVR does not include a hard drive. To enable video recording, you must install a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive. Follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the DVR: Ensure the DVR is powered off and disconnected from the power source.
  2. Remove Cover Screws: Locate and twist down the screws on the DVR casing to remove the top cover.
  3. Access Hard Disk Bay: Carefully remove the top cover to expose the internal components and the hard disk mounting bay.
  4. Connect Cables: Connect the SATA data cable and power cable from the DVR to the corresponding ports on your 3.5-inch SATA hard drive.

4. Software Setup and Operation

4.1 Initial Configuration
