1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the AirNmore Comfort Deluxe Copper PTC Infrared Space Heater. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new heater. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

The AirNmore Comfort Deluxe heater is designed to provide supplemental warmth for indoor spaces, featuring Copper PTC heating elements for efficient heat transfer and safety features such as overheat protection.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always unplug heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater is safe around children and pets due to its cool-to-the-touch exterior and no exposed heating elements. However, supervision is always recommended.

Control Panel and Display

  • POWER Button: Turns the heater ON or OFF.
  • TEMP UP / TEMP DOWN Buttons: Adjusts the desired temperature setting. The display shows the set temperature range from 40°F to 90°F.

5. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the front, sides, and rear of the heater to prevent obstruction of air flow and to keep combustible materials away. Do not place the heater directly under a power outlet.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a 120V, 15 Amp (or greater) grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords, power strips, or surge protectors. The heater is equipped with a heavy-duty power cord.

Ensure the power cord is not pinched or placed in a position where it could be damaged or cause a tripping hazard.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the POWER button on the control panel or remote control to turn the heater ON. The display will illuminate, showing the current room temperature or default setting.
  2. Set Temperature: Use the TEMP UP or TEMP DOWN buttons to set your desired temperature. The heater will cycle ON and OFF to maintain this temperature. The adjustable range is typically 40°F to 90°F.
  3. Select Heat Mode: Press the HIGH or LOW button to select the desired heat output.
    • HIGH: 1500 Watts for maximum heat output.
    • LOW: 750 Watts for reduced heat output and energy consumption.
  4. Remote Control: The included remote control duplicates the functions of the control panel for convenient operation from a distance. Ensure the remote has working batteries.
  5. Power Off: Press the POWER button again to turn the heater OFF. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool down internal components before shutting off completely.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater. Always unplug the heater before performing any maintenance.

Cleaning the Air Filter

The AirNmore Comfort Deluxe heater is equipped with a washable air filter located at the rear of the unit. It is recommended to clean the filter every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Ensure the heater is unplugged and cool to the touch.
  2. Locate the filter cover on the back of the unit.
  3. Remove the filter cover and gently pull out the air filter.
  4. Rinse the filter under warm running water until clean. A mild detergent can be used if necessary.
  5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the heater. Do not use the heater without a dry filter.

General Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Do not immerse the heater in water.

When storing the heater, keep it in a cool, dry place. If possible, use the original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

8. Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

Heater does not turn ON.
  • Not plugged in.
  • Power switch is OFF.
  • Circuit breaker tripped.
  • Overheat protection activated.
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet.
  • Press the POWER button on the unit or remote.
  • Check your home's electrical panel and reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
  • Unplug the heater, wait 10-15 minutes for it to cool down, then plug it back in. Ensure proper ventilation.
Heater blows cold air.
  • Temperature setting is too low.
  • Heater has reached desired temperature.
  • Increase the temperature setting using the TEMP UP button.
  • This is normal operation. The fan may continue to run to circulate air even when heating elements are off.
Reduced heat output.
  • Heater is on LOW setting.
  • Dirty air filter.
  • Ensure the heater is set to HIGH mode for maximum heat.
  • Clean the air filter as described in the Maintenance section.
Remote control not working.
  • Dead batteries.
  • Obstruction between remote and heater.
  • Replace the batteries in the remote control.
  • Ensure a clear line of sight between the remote and the heater's sensor.
