5. Setup Instructions

5.1 Physical Connection

  1. Ensure all components (LED strip, controller, power supply) are compatible with 12V-24V DC.
  2. Connect the LED strip to the output side of the WiFi controller.
  3. Connect the power supply to the input side of the WiFi controller.
  4. Plug the power supply into a suitable power outlet. The LED strip should illuminate.

5.2 App Download and Installation

The controller uses the "FVLTLED" application (also known as "Magic Home Pro").

  • Scan the QR code on the controller or in the manual, or search for "FVLTLED" (or "Magic Home Pro") in the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS).
  • Download and install the application.
  • Create an account or log in if you already have one.

5.3 Device Pairing

  1. Ensure your mobile device's Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to a 2.4 GHz network. 5 GHz networks are not supported by the LED controller.
  2. Open the FVLTLED (Magic Home Pro) app.
  3. If the LED strip is not pulsing, disconnect and reconnect the power supply 4-5 times until the lights begin to flash, indicating pairing mode.
  4. In the app, tap the "Add Device" or "+" icon.
  5. The app should detect the "LEDnetXXXXXX" device. Select it.
  6. Enter your Wi-Fi network password when prompted.
  7. Once connected, you will be prompted to name your device (e.g., "Desk Light", "Kitchen Counter").

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Brightness Adjustment

Within the app, you can adjust the brightness of your LED strip from 1% to 100% using a slider or a circular control interface.

6.2 On/Off Control

Use the power icon within the app to turn your LED strip lights on or off instantly.

6.3 Timer Function

Set schedules for your lights to automatically turn on or off at specific times. This feature is accessible within the app's timer settings.

6.4 Voice Control Integration

The controller is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. After pairing the device with the app, link your FVLTLED (Magic Home Pro) account to your voice assistant application (e.g., Alexa app, Google Home app). You can then use voice commands such as:

  • "Alexa, turn [Light name] on."
  • "Hey Google, turn [Light name] off."
  • "Alexa, set [Light name] to 50%."

6.5 Group Control

The application allows you to group multiple Sumaote WiFi controllers to control them simultaneously or individually. This is useful for managing lighting in different rooms or areas.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the controller clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.
