5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

Press the POWER button (usually located on the front panel) to turn the unit on or off. The unit will typically power on automatically with the vehicle's ignition.

5.2. Touchscreen Interface

The N7-MST features a capacitive touchscreen. Lightly touch the icons or menu options to select them. Swipe gestures may be used for navigation in certain applications.

5.3. Main Menu Navigation

The main menu provides access to all primary functions. Tap the corresponding icon to enter a specific mode:

  • Tuner: Access FM/AM radio.
  • Navigation: Launch the navigation software.
  • iPod: Control and play music from a connected iPod/iPhone.
  • Telefon (Phone): Access Bluetooth hands-free calling and phonebook.
  • Media: Play audio/video from various sources (CD/DVD, USB, SD).
  • USB: Access files from a connected USB device.

5.4. Android Link

Android Link allows you to control supported Android applications directly from the N7-MST's screen. To use Android Link, connect your smartphone to the radio via the USB port. The specific interface and available functions depend on the Android Link app installed on your radio.

5.5. Assignable Function Key

The N7-MST features a hardware function key on the front panel (not applicable to N7-6205 models). This button can be assigned to control any desired function. You can change the assigned function at any time through the system settings.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning the Display

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the touchscreen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.2. Software Updates
