5. Setup Instructions
5.1 Physical Connection
Follow these steps to connect the controller to your LED strip and power supply:
- Ensure all power is disconnected before making any connections.
- Connect your single color LED strip to the output side of the Goldwin controller. The controller has a standard DC barrel jack output.
- Connect a compatible DC 12-24V power adapter to the input side of the Goldwin controller.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

5.2 App Download and Pairing
To control your LED strip, download the Magic Home Pro app from your smartphone's app store.
- Download and install the Magic Home Pro app on your mobile device.
- Ensure your smartphone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
- Open the Magic Home Pro app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. The app will guide you through connecting the controller to your home Wi-Fi network.
- During setup, it is recommended to temporarily turn off your phone's mobile data as it may interfere with the Wi-Fi connection process.

6. Operating Instructions
Once connected, you can utilize the various features of your Goldwin Smart Controller:
- App Remote Control: Use the Magic Home Pro app to turn lights on/off, adjust brightness, and set modes from anywhere with an internet connection.
- Voice Command Control: Integrate with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Use commands like "Alexa, turn on the living room lights" or "Hey Google, dim the kitchen lights to 50%."
- Timer Setting: Within the app, navigate to the timer section to set specific schedules for your lights to turn on or off automatically.
- Group Control: If you have multiple Goldwin controllers, create groups in the app to control them simultaneously.
- Music Sync and Microphone Sound Control: Activate these modes in the app to make your lights react to music played on your smartphone or ambient sounds.

7. Maintenance
The Goldwin Smart Controller requires minimal maintenance. Keep the device clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to moisture or extreme temperatures. Do not attempt to open or repair the controller yourself, as this will void any potential warranty and may cause damage.
8. Troubleshooting
- Controller Wi-Fi signal not found by smartphone:
Check if the controller is connected to a router. Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi function is working correctly.
- Controller cannot connect with router:
Verify the Wi-Fi password. If correct, power off both the controller and router for 3 minutes, then power them back on. Wait 2 minutes before restarting the app. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset.
- How to reset the controller:
To reset the WiFi controller, repeatedly plug and unplug the connector 4 times, waiting 1-3 seconds each time you plug/unplug. This will restore factory defaults.
- Lights flickering:
Ensure you are using dimmable LED strips. Non-dimmable bulbs may flicker with dimmer controls.
- Controller offline/unresponsive:
If the controller goes offline, try the reset procedure mentioned above. Ensure your router is online and the controller is within range.
9. Important Notices
- This controller is NOT FOR RGB LED strips. It is designed for single color LED strips only.
- If you need to make DIY modifications to the device, please contact customer service for guidance. Follow the provided diagram instructions carefully for any modifications.
- Ensure correct wiring during installation. Incorrect wiring can damage the controller.
