1. Introduction

The Tonies Santa Claus Creative Audio Character (Model 02-0032) is a hearing figure designed for use with the Toniebox audio player (sold separately). This Creative-Tonie allows you to record and upload your own audio content, providing a personalized listening experience. It offers 90 minutes of customizable space for stories, songs, or messages.

This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and care of your Creative-Tonie.

2. What's in the Box

Note: The Toniebox audio player is required for operation and is sold separately.

3. Setup

Before using your Creative-Tonie, ensure your Toniebox is set up and connected to your Wi-Fi network. If you haven't done so, please refer to your Toniebox instruction manual.

3.1 Initial Tonie Registration

1. Create a mytonies Account: If you do not have one, visit my.tonies.com or download the mytonies smartphone app to create an account.
2. Add Your Toniebox: Follow the on-screen instructions to register your Toniebox to your account.
3. Register Your Creative-Tonie:
   • Place the Santa Claus Creative-Tonie on your Toniebox.
   • The Toniebox will attempt to download content for the Tonie. Since it's a Creative-Tonie, it will prompt you to assign content via your mytonies account.
   • Log in to your mytonies account (via website or app). The new Creative-Tonie should appear in your list of Tonies, ready for content assignment.

4. Operation

4.1 Playing Content

Once content is assigned to your Creative-Tonie via the mytonies app, simply place the Santa Claus figure on your Toniebox. The Toniebox will automatically download and play the assigned audio. Ensure your Toniebox is connected to Wi-Fi for initial content download or updates.

4.2 Managing Content with the mytonies App

The mytonies app (or my.tonies.com) is your central hub for managing your Creative-Tonie's content. It offers 90 minutes of storage capacity.

• Record Your Own: Use the app's recording function to create personalized stories, songs, or messages.
• Upload Existing Audio: Transfer your own audio files (e.g., MP3s) from your device to the Creative-Tonie.
• Download Free Content: Access and download free audio content provided by Tonies.
• Invite Contributors: Share access with family and friends, allowing them to record and upload content directly to your Creative-Tonie from anywhere in the world.
• Live Option: Activate the "Live" option to ensure that the most recently added content is always played first when the Tonie is placed on the Toniebox.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Content Not Updating:
  • Ensure your Toniebox is connected to Wi-Fi. Content updates require an internet connection.
  • Place the Creative-Tonie on the Toniebox for a few moments to trigger a content sync.
  • Check your mytonies app/website to confirm the content has been successfully assigned and saved.
• App Issues:
  • Ensure your mytonies app is updated to the latest version.
  • Check your device's internet connection.
  • Try restarting the app or logging out and back in.
