Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your Ultimate Ears BOOM 2. Connect the supplied micro USB cable to the charging port at the bottom of the speaker and plug the other end into a USB power source. The charging time is approximately 2.5 hours for a full charge, providing up to 15 hours of battery life.

Bluetooth Pairing

To pair your BOOM 2 with a Bluetooth-enabled device:

1. Turn on your Ultimate Ears BOOM 2.
2. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on the top of the speaker until you hear a tone and the LED flashes rapidly.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and select 'UE BOOM 2' from the list of available devices.
4. Once paired, the speaker will confirm with an audible tone.

The BOOM 2 can pair with up to 8 Bluetooth-enabled devices and connect to two source devices simultaneously.

Tap Controls

The BOOM 2 features intuitive tap controls:

Connecting Multiple Speakers (PartyUp)
