Operating Instructions
Preparation
- Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
- Remove any hard seeds, pits, or thick skins (e.g., pineapple, citrus).
- Cut ingredients into pieces small enough to fit into the hopper opening. For the self-feeding hopper, ensure pieces are suitable for the internal blade.
Juicing Process
- Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and the juice and pulp containers are in place.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position.
- Using the Self-Feeding Hopper: Place prepared ingredients into the self-feeding hopper. The internal blade will automatically chop and feed them into the juicing chamber.
- Using the Alpha Plus Hopper: For ingredients like leafy greens or when you prefer manual feeding, use the Alpha Plus hopper and gently push ingredients down with the provided pusher.
- Juice will flow from the juice outlet into the juice container, and pulp will be discharged into the pulp container.
- If ingredients become jammed, switch the power to 'REV' (reverse) for a few seconds to clear the blockage, then switch back to 'ON'.
- Once juicing is complete, turn the power switch to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Hurom H-AI-LBB20 H-AI Slow Juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Juicer does not start:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Check that all parts are correctly assembled and locked into place. The juicer has safety features that prevent operation if not assembled properly.
- Ingredients are jammed or juicer stops during operation:
- Turn the power switch to 'OFF', then to 'REV' (reverse) for a few seconds to dislodge the ingredients. Repeat if necessary.
- If the jam persists, turn off and unplug the juicer, then disassemble and clear the blockage manually.
- Ensure ingredients are cut into appropriate sizes and not overfeeding the juicer.
- Low juice yield or excessive wet pulp:
- Ensure the strainer is clean and free of clogs.
- Some softer fruits or very fibrous vegetables naturally produce more pulp.
- Adjust the pulp control lever if available on your model.
- Loud noise or vibration:
- Check that all parts are correctly assembled and securely locked.
- Ensure the juicer is on a stable, flat surface.
- Excessively hard ingredients or large pieces can cause increased noise.
