Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure adequate clearance above the unit for opening the lid.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the carafe, reusable filter basket, measuring spoon, and K-Cup adapter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
4. First Brew Cycle (Cleaning): Fill the water reservoir to the 12-cup mark. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Run a full brew cycle without coffee grounds to clean the internal components. Discard the water. Repeat this process once more.

Operating Instructions

Brewing a Full Pot (12-Cup)

1. Fill Water Reservoir: Open the top lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired cup marking (max 12 cups). Close the lid securely.
2. Add Coffee Grounds: Place the reusable permanent filter basket into the filter holder. Add your desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. For best results, use 1 scoop (provided) per cup. Close the filter compartment lid.

3. Place Carafe: Ensure the glass carafe is empty and properly seated on the warming plate.
4. Select Brew Strength (Optional): Use the 'Strength' button on the control panel to adjust the coffee strength if desired.
5. Start Brewing: Press the 'Brew' button to begin the brewing cycle. The display will show the brewing progress.
6. Serve: Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to 'Keep Warm' mode. You can remove the carafe to pour coffee at any time during the brew cycle using the pause and serve feature.

Brewing a Single Serve (K-Cup Compatible)

1. Prepare K-Cup or Adapter: Open the single-serve lid on the right side of the unit. Insert a K-Cup capsule or fill the ground coffee adapter with your preferred coffee grounds.

2. Fill Single-Serve Water Reservoir: Pour the exact amount of water needed for your desired cup size (6oz, 10oz, or 15oz) into the single-serve water inlet. Do not overfill. Close the single-serve lid.
3. Place Cup: Position your coffee mug or travel mug on the adjustable drip tray. The drip tray can be removed for taller mugs.
4. Select Cup Size: Use the single-serve cup size buttons on the control panel to select your desired brew volume.
5. Start Brewing: Press the 'Brew' button for single-serve. The unit will heat and dispense the coffee.
6. Enjoy: Once brewing is complete, remove your cup.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the best coffee taste and extends the life of your coffee maker.

• Daily Cleaning: After each use, wash the carafe, reusable filter basket, and K-Cup adapter in warm, soapy water. The adjustable drip tray is also removable for easy cleaning. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Descaling (Monthly or as needed): Mineral deposits from water can build up over time. To descale, fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio). Run a full brew cycle. After the cycle, run two more cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse thoroughly.
