4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the stove from its packaging. Inspect for any damage. Retain packaging for storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the stove on a firm, level, and non-combustible surface outdoors. Ensure there is ample space around the stove and above it for proper ventilation and to prevent fire hazards.
  3. Gas Cylinder Connection:
    • Ensure all control knobs on the stove are in the 'OFF' position.
    • Connect the gas regulator (not included) to your Butane G30 or Propane G31 gas cylinder according to the regulator's instructions.
    • Connect the gas hose from the regulator to the stove's gas inlet. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
  4. Leak Check: Before lighting, open the gas cylinder valve. Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the gas cylinder valve immediately, tighten connections, and re-test. Do not use the stove if a leak persists.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Preparation: Ensure the stove is set up correctly and a leak check has been performed. Place your cooking utensil on the grate.
  2. Lighting a Burner:
    • Open the valve on the gas cylinder.
    • Push in and turn the desired burner's control knob counter-clockwise to the 'HIGH' position.
    • Immediately apply a flame (e.g., from a match or lighter) to the burner head. The burner should ignite.
    • If the burner does not light within a few seconds, turn the control knob to 'OFF', wait for any gas to dissipate, and try again.
  3. Adjusting Flame: Once lit, you can adjust the flame intensity by turning the control knob. The stove offers 4 speed settings for precise heat control. Turn clockwise for lower heat, counter-clockwise for higher heat.
  4. Turning Off: To turn off a burner, turn its control knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position. Once all burners are off, close the valve on the gas cylinder.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Allow the stove to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the iron casing with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Remove burner grates and burner caps for cleaning. Clean any food spills promptly to prevent buildup. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers that could damage the finish.
  • Burner Care: Ensure burner ports are clear of debris. Use a small brush or needle if necessary to clear any blockages.
  • Storage: Disconnect the gas cylinder and store it separately in a well-ventilated area. Ensure the stove is clean and dry before storing it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the gas hose and connections for signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace any damaged components immediately.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Burner does not light:
    • Check if the gas cylinder valve is open.
    • Ensure there is gas in the cylinder.
    • Verify gas connections are secure and there are no leaks.
    • Check if burner ports are clogged.
  • Weak or inconsistent flame:
    • Check gas cylinder level.
    • Ensure gas hose is not kinked or obstructed.
    • Clean burner ports if they appear partially blocked.
  • Gas odor detected:
    • Immediately turn off all burners and close the gas cylinder valve.
