2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Assembly

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present. Place the monitor face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches during assembly.

2.2 Stand Assembly

Attach the monitor stand to the back of the monitor using the provided screws. Ensure the stand is securely fastened before placing the monitor upright.

2.3 VESA Wall Mount Installation (Optional)

The GN34CW monitor supports VESA 75x75mm mounting. If using a VESA mount, remove the stand and attach the VESA bracket to the monitor's rear panel. Follow the instructions provided with your VESA mounting system for proper installation.

2.4 Connecting to Your Device

The monitor features multiple input ports for versatile connectivity. Connect your computer or other devices using the appropriate cables.

  • DisplayPort (DP): For optimal performance, especially with 100Hz refresh rate and FreeSync, use the DisplayPort connection. A DP 1.2 cable is included.
  • HDMI: Connect devices using an HDMI cable. The monitor supports HDMI 2.0.

After connecting the video cable, connect the AC adapter to the monitor and then to a power outlet. Press the power button to turn on the monitor.

3.1 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

3.3 FreeSync Technology

The Viotek GN34CW supports AMD FreeSync technology, which synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with your graphics card's frame rate to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering during gaming. Ensure FreeSync is enabled in both the monitor's OSD and your AMD graphics card settings.

3.4 Picture-in-Picture (PIP) / Picture-by-Picture (PBP)
