Wheel and Foot Installation
Attach the never-flat wheels and support feet to the generator frame as per the instructions in the Quick Start Guide. This typically involves tilting the generator and securing the components with the provided hardware and wrench.
Adding Engine Oil
Before first use, add the supplied engine oil to the crankcase. Ensure the generator is on a level surface. Use the provided funnel to pour the oil slowly until it reaches the full mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
Battery Connection
Connect the battery terminals. Ensure connections are secure to allow for electric start functionality.

Fueling the Generator
This model operates on gasoline only. Ensure you use fresh, unleaded gasoline. Fill the fuel tank, observing the fuel gauge to prevent overfilling.

Starting the Generator
The WGen9500 offers multiple starting methods:
- Electric Start: Ensure the battery is connected. Turn the engine switch to 'RUN'. Press and hold the 'PUSH BUTTON ELECTRIC START' button until the engine starts.
- Remote Start Key Fob: From up to 109 yards away, press the start button on the key fob to remotely start the generator.
- Recoil Start: As a backup, pull the recoil cord firmly and steadily until the engine starts.
Connecting Electrical Loads
Once the generator is running and stable, you can connect your electrical devices. The WGen9500 features a variety of outlets to suit different power needs:
- 120V 5-20R GFCI Outlets: Standard household outlets for common appliances.
- 120/240V L14-30R Outlet: Transfer Switch Ready, ideal for connecting to a home's electrical system via a transfer switch (sold separately).

Stopping the Generator
