- Preparing Food: Prepare your food items by washing, peeling, and slicing them to uniform thickness. Arrange them in a single layer on the drying trays, ensuring air can circulate freely.
- Loading Trays: Slide the loaded trays into the dehydrator. Close the front door securely.
- Power On: Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn on the dehydrator. The digital display will illuminate.
- Setting Temperature:
- Press the TEMP button.
- Use the + and - buttons to adjust the temperature between 35°C and 70°C (95°F and 158°F).
- The recommended temperature for most foods is between 50°C and 60°C.
- Setting Timer:
- Press the TIMER button.
- Use the + and - buttons to set the desired drying time, from 30 minutes to 19.5 hours.
- Drying times vary significantly based on food type, thickness, and moisture content.
- Starting Dehydration: Once temperature and time are set, the dehydrator will begin operation automatically after a few seconds. The display will show the remaining time.
- Monitoring: Periodically check the food's dryness. Rotate trays if necessary for even drying, though the vertical airflow design minimizes this need.
- Completion: The dehydrator will automatically shut off when the timer expires. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Cooling and Storage: Allow dehydrated food to cool completely before storing in airtight containers.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your dehydrator.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the dehydrator from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Trays and Accessories: The stainless steel trays, mesh sheet, and fruit leather tray are not dishwasher safe. Wash them by hand in warm, soapy water. Use a soft brush if necessary to remove any stuck-on food particles. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing or re-using.
- Main Unit: Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the dehydrator unit with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent on the cloth, then wipe with a clean damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Store the clean and dry dehydrator in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dehydrator does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet malfunction; unit malfunction. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check the circuit breaker. If the problem persists, contact customer support. |
| Food is not drying evenly. | Overloaded trays; uneven slicing; door not fully closed. | Ensure food is spread in a single layer. Slice food to uniform thickness. Verify the front door is securely closed. While vertical airflow minimizes rotation, you may try rotating trays halfway through the process if needed. |
| Drying process takes too long. | Temperature set too low; food too thick; high humidity. | Increase the temperature setting within the recommended range. Slice food thinner. Dehydrate in a low-humidity environment. |
