Setup
1. Installing the Push Button
- Choose a location: Select a suitable location near your door, ensuring it is easily accessible to visitors and within effective range of the receiver.
- Mounting:
- Adhesive Method: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad on the back of the push button and firmly press it onto the desired surface for at least 30 seconds.
- Screw Method: Open the push button casing (if applicable, refer to any internal diagrams). Mark the screw holes on the wall. Drill pilot holes if necessary and secure the push button base with the provided screws. Reattach the casing securely.
- Battery Installation (if applicable): Ensure the push button has a working battery. Some models come with pre-installed batteries. If replacing, observe correct polarity.
2. Installing the Receiver
- Plug in: Insert the receiver into a standard 230V AC wall outlet in a central location within your home, ensuring it is within effective wireless range of the push button.
- Power On: The receiver will power on automatically. Some models may have an indicator light that illuminates.
3. Pairing the Push Button and Receiver (if not pre-paired)
- Enter Pairing Mode: On the receiver, locate the pairing button (often labeled "Pair" or "Code"). Press and hold this button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the receiver emits a specific sound or its indicator light flashes rapidly.
- Activate Push Button: Within 10 seconds of the receiver entering pairing mode, press the wireless push button once.
- Confirmation: The receiver should emit a chime or its indicator light will stop flashing, confirming successful pairing.
- Test: Press the push button again to ensure the doorbell rings as expected.
Operating Instructions
Changing Chime Melodies
- Locate the "Melody" or "Music" button on the receiver.
- Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the available chime melodies.
- Once you hear your desired melody, stop pressing. The receiver will save this selection automatically.
Adjusting Volume
- Locate the "Volume" button on the receiver.
- Press this button to cycle through different volume levels (e.g., high, medium, low, mute).
- Select the desired volume level.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the receiver and push button with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components.
- Battery Replacement (Push Button): If the push button stops working or its wireless range significantly decreases, the battery may need replacement. Open the push button casing, replace the old battery with a new one of the same type (e.g., CR2032, A23, depending on your specific model), observing correct polarity. Close the casing securely to maintain its IP44 rating.
- Receiver: The receiver does not require battery replacement as it is mains powered.
