1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Domo DO7056S Handheld Garment Steamer. This device is designed to quickly and efficiently smooth wrinkles from various fabrics, refresh garments, and eliminate bacteria and dust mites without the need for an ironing board. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Read all instructions before using this appliance.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack the Steamer: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present and undamaged.
  2. Fill the Water Tank:
    • Remove the water tank from the main unit by pulling it downwards.
    • Open the rubber stopper on the bottom of the tank.
    • Fill the tank with clean, distilled, or demineralized water up to the MAX fill line (250 ml capacity). Do not overfill.
    • Close the rubber stopper securely and reattach the water tank to the steamer until it clicks into place.
  3. Attach Accessories (Optional): If using the fabric brush attachment, align it with the steam head and press firmly until it locks into position.
  4. Positioning: Place the steamer on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not tangled or obstructing any pathways.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective and safe steaming:

  1. Power On: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (230V). The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the steamer is heating up.
  2. Heat-Up Time: The steamer will be ready for use in approximately 45 seconds. The indicator light may change or turn off once ready, depending on the model.
  3. Steaming Garments:
    • Hang the garment on a hanger. Gently pull the fabric taut with one hand.
    • Hold the steamer upright, keeping the steam head a few inches away from the fabric.
    • Press and hold the steam trigger button to release continuous steam.
    • Move the steam head slowly over the fabric, from top to bottom, allowing the steam to penetrate and relax the fibers.
    • For stubborn wrinkles, you can gently press the steam head against the fabric while steaming.
    • Use the fabric brush attachment for thicker fabrics or to remove lint.
  4. Steaming Other Fabrics: The steamer can also be used for curtains, upholstery, and other household fabrics. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
  5. Automatic Shut-off: The steamer is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature that activates after 15 minutes of inactivity for safety and energy saving. To resume steaming, simply press the steam trigger again.
  6. Finishing: Once steaming is complete, release the steam trigger. Unplug the steamer from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steamer.

  1. After Each Use:
    • Unplug the steamer and allow it to cool completely (at least 30 minutes).
    • Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
    • Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  2. Descaling (Monthly or as Needed):
    • Mineral deposits can build up over time, especially if tap water is used. This can affect steam output.
    • To descale, mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water.
    • Fill the water tank with this solution and let it sit for 30 minutes. Do not heat the solution.
    • Empty the tank and rinse thoroughly with clean water several times.
    • Refill with distilled water and run the steamer for a few minutes to flush out any remaining vinegar solution.
  3. Storage: Ensure the steamer is completely cool and dry before storing. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting
