Setup

1. Transmitter (Push Button) Installation

1. Battery Installation: If the CR2032 battery is not pre-installed, open the transmitter casing using a small screwdriver. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Close the casing securely.
2. Choose a Location: Select a flat, vertical surface near your door, ensuring it is easily accessible to visitors. Avoid metal surfaces, as they can interfere with the wireless signal.
3. Mounting Options:
   • Adhesive Tape: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly. Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape and attach it to the back of the transmitter. Peel off the other side and firmly press the transmitter onto the desired location for at least 30 seconds.
   • Screws: Mark the positions for the two mounting screws. Drill pilot holes if necessary, insert the wall plugs, and then secure the transmitter to the wall using the provided screws.

2. Receiver (Chime Unit) Installation

1. Power On: Plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet (AC 100-240V) in a central location within your home. The receiver will power on and emit a short chime sound.
2. Placement: Choose an outlet that is within the effective range of the transmitter and where the chime can be easily heard throughout your desired area. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or other electronic devices that might cause interference.

3. Pairing (If Necessary)

Your SOLIGHT 1L49 doorbell units are typically pre-paired at the factory. If the doorbell does not chime when the transmitter button is pressed, follow these steps to pair them:

1. Plug the receiver into an electrical outlet.
2. Press and hold the volume button on the receiver for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a short 'ding' sound and the LED indicator flashes. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode.
3. Within 10 seconds, press the push button on the transmitter. The receiver will chime, indicating successful pairing.
4. Test the doorbell by pressing the transmitter button again. If it chimes, the pairing is complete. If not, repeat the steps.

Operating

1. Changing Chime Melodies

The receiver offers multiple chime melodies. To change the melody:

• Locate the 'Melody' button on the side or front of the receiver.
• Press the 'Melody' button repeatedly to cycle through the available tunes. The receiver will play each melody as you press the button.
• Stop pressing when you hear your desired melody. The selected melody will be saved automatically.

2. Adjusting Volume

To adjust the volume level of the chime:

• Locate the 'Volume' button on the receiver.
• Press the 'Volume' button repeatedly to cycle through the available volume levels (e.g., High, Medium, Low, Mute).
• Stop pressing when you reach your preferred volume level.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement (Transmitter): When the transmitter's LED indicator no longer lights up or the doorbell range decreases significantly, it's time to replace the CR2032 battery. Open the casing, replace the battery with a new one (positive side up), and close the casing securely.
• Environmental Protection: Ensure the outdoor transmitter is protected from extreme weather conditions to prolong its lifespan.
