5. Operating Instructions
The S886 LCD display provides essential information and control over your electric vehicle. Familiarize yourself with its functions before riding.
5.1 Power On/Off
- To power on the display, press and hold the power button (usually the middle button).
- To power off, press and hold the power button again.
5.2 Display Functions
The LCD screen displays various parameters:

Figure 5.1: Examples of the S886 LCD display showing different operational states and data, including vehicle speed, battery level, speed level, and mileage.
- Vehicle Speed: Displays current speed in km/h or mph.
- Battery Indicator: Shows the remaining battery charge (e.g., 2 lattices, 4 lattices).
- Speed Level: Indicates the current power assist level (e.g., Speed Level 1, 2).
- Mileage: Displays single trip mileage (TRIP) and total trip mileage (ODO).
- Battery Voltage: Shows the current battery voltage (VOL).
- Error Codes: Displays error codes (ERR) if any issues are detected.
5.3 Throttle Operation
- To accelerate, gently press the thumb throttle. The speed will increase proportionally to the throttle input.
- Release the throttle to decelerate.
5.4 EBS Brake Operation (if applicable)
- If your system includes the EBS brake thumb throttle, pressing it will engage the electronic braking system, providing regenerative braking.
5.5 Video Demonstration
