2.3 CPU Installation

  1. Open the CPU socket lever.
  2. Carefully align the CPU with the socket, matching the triangular mark on the CPU to the mark on the socket.
  3. Gently place the CPU into the socket. Do not force it.
  4. Close the socket lever to secure the CPU.

2.4 RAM Installation

  1. Open the clips on both ends of the DIMM slots.

  3. Press down firmly on both ends of the RAM module until the clips snap into place.

  3. Align your graphics card with the slot and press down firmly until it is fully seated and the retention clip locks.

2.6 Storage Device Installation (M.2 SSD / SATA Drives)

  • M.2 SSD: Locate the M.2 slots. Remove the M.2 screw and standoff. Insert the M.2 SSD at an angle, then push it down and secure it with the screw.
  • SATA Drives: Connect one end of a SATA data cable to a SATA port on the motherboard and the other end to your SATA HDD/SSD. Connect a SATA power cable from your power supply to the drive.

2.7 Power Supply Connections

  1. Connect the 24-pin ATX main power connector from your power supply to the motherboard.
  2. Connect the 8-pin (or 4+4-pin) ATX 12V CPU power connector to the motherboard.
