Regularly clean your earbuds and charging case to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surfaces. For ear tips and gel sleeves, remove them from the earbuds and clean with a mild soap solution, then rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before reattaching.

When not in use, always store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store the case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7.3 Water Resistance

The JBL Free X earbuds are IPX5 certified splashproof. This means they are resistant to water splashes from any direction. They are not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.
