Setup

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge your NEBO SLYDE KING. Locate the Micro-USB port on the side of the flashlight, protected by a rubber cover. Open the cover and connect the included Micro-USB cable to the port. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show charging status (typically red for charging, green for fully charged). A full charge takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Battery Installation/Replacement

The SLYDE KING uses a specialized 18650 type Lithium-Ion battery. To access the battery compartment, unscrew the magnetic tail cap at the bottom of the flashlight. Then, unscrew the second battery cover. Insert the 18650 battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Re-secure both covers tightly to ensure water resistance.

Note: Only use the included or NEBO-approved 18650 batteries, as they have specific contacts and performance customizations required for proper operation.

Operating Instructions

Flashlight Operation (Front LED)

• Power On/Off: Press the side-positioned ON/OFF button once to turn on the flashlight. Press again to turn off.
• Dimming: While the flashlight is on, press and hold the ON/OFF button to dim the light. The light will cycle between 100% and 10% brightness. Release the button at your desired brightness level. The light will flash once it reaches the lowest setting.
• Memory Setting: The SLYDE KING remembers the last dimmed setting for each mode. Double-click the button to activate the last saved dimmed setting.
• 4x Adjustable Zoom: Twist the head of the flashlight clockwise to zoom in for a tighter, brighter beam, and counter-clockwise to zoom out for a wider floodlight.

COB Work Light Operation (Side LED)

• Activate: Extend the flashlight by pulling on the top and bottom sections. The COB work light will automatically turn on in high mode.
• Dimming: While the COB work light is on, press and hold the ON/OFF button to dim the light. The light will cycle between 100% and 10% brightness. Release the button at your desired brightness level.
• Red Light Mode: With the COB work light extended, press the ON/OFF button once to switch to red COB light mode. This mode is ideal for preserving night vision.
• Red Flashing Mode: From the red COB light mode, press the ON/OFF button again to activate the red flashing mode, useful for emergencies or signaling.
• Deactivate: Push the flashlight back together to turn off the COB work light.
• Direct-to-Red Feature: To directly activate the red COB light, hold down the ON/OFF button while extending the flashlight.

Friction Collar Adjustment

The friction collar, located directly below the COB work light, can be rotated to adjust the resistance of the sliding mechanism. Rotate it to make the slide function either harder or easier to operate, customizing it to your preference.

Magnetic Base

The powerful magnetic base at the tail end allows you to attach the SLYDE KING to any metallic surface for hands-free illumination. This is particularly useful when working on vehicles or in workshops.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Resistance: The SLYDE KING is IPX4 water spray resistant. Ensure the Micro-USB port cover is properly sealed to maintain water resistance. Do not submerge the flashlight in water.
• Battery Care: For optimal battery life, charge the battery regularly. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery every 3-6 months.
