- Gently insert the included 8GB Micro-SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release, and it will spring out.
4.2. Mounting the Dash Camera
- Clean the desired area on your windshield or dashboard thoroughly. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
- Attach the suction cup mount to the dash camera.
- Press the suction cup firmly against the cleaned surface and flip the lever down to secure it.
- Adjust the camera angle using the rotational joint on the mount to ensure a clear view of the road ahead and the vehicle interior.
4.3. Connecting Power
- Connect the small end of the 12V power adapter cable to the micro-USB port on the dash camera.
- Plug the other end of the 12V power adapter into your vehicle's power port (cigarette lighter socket).
- The camera will typically power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- Automatic: The camera will power on and begin recording automatically when connected to power and the vehicle's ignition is on.
- Manual: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the side or top) to manually turn the camera on or off.
5.2. Recording Modes
- Loop Recording: The camera continuously records in segments (3, 5, or 10 minutes). When the Micro-SD card is full, the oldest unlocked footage will be overwritten.
- G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the G-Sensor will automatically detect it and lock the current recording segment, preventing it from being overwritten. These files are stored in a separate folder.
- Motion Detection: When enabled, the camera will automatically start recording if it detects movement in front of the lens while the vehicle is parked. This feature requires continuous power supply to the camera.
5.3. Adjusting Settings
Use the menu buttons (refer to Figure 3.2 for general location) to navigate the camera's settings. Common settings include:
- Resolution: Select desired video quality (1080FHD, 720P, VGA).

- Via USB Cable: Connect the dash camera to a computer using the included USB data cable. The camera will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to copy files.
- Via Micro-SD Card Reader: Remove the Micro-SD card from the camera and insert it into a compatible card reader connected to a computer. This is often the fastest method for large file transfers.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Camera
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and screen.
- For lenses, use a lens cleaning cloth or a microfiber cloth specifically designed for optics. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2. Micro-SD Card Management
- Formatting: It is recommended to format the Micro-SD card periodically (e.g., once a month) within the camera's settings to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Formatting will erase all data on the card, so back up important files first.
- Card Lifespan: Micro-SD cards have a limited number of write cycles. If you experience frequent recording errors or corrupted files, consider replacing the Micro-SD card. Use high-quality, high-speed (Class 10 or higher) cards for best results.
