3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button on the robot or the remote control until the indicator light illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light turns off.

3.2 Cleaning Modes

The Conga Serie 1090 offers 5 cleaning modes, selectable via the remote control or the mobile app:

• Auto Mode: The robot intelligently navigates and cleans the entire accessible area.
• Edges Mode: The robot cleans along walls and furniture edges.
• Room Mode: Designed for cleaning a specific room. The robot will focus its cleaning within that area.
• Spiral Mode: The robot cleans in a spiral pattern, ideal for concentrated cleaning of a small, dirty area.
• Back to Base Mode: The robot automatically returns to its charging base.

3.3 Suction Power Levels

Adjust the suction power according to your cleaning needs:

• Eco: For light cleaning and extended battery life.
• Normal: Standard cleaning power for daily use.
• Turbo: Maximum suction power for heavily soiled areas or carpets.

3.4 Mopping Function (Wash4You System)

To activate the mopping function, ensure the water tank is filled and the Twin Floor mop cloth is attached. The robot will automatically distribute water evenly for effective scrubbing. Remove the water tank and mop cloth when not in use or when vacuuming only.

The robot can be programmed to clean at specific times using the remote control or the mobile app. Utilize the "All-Time Table" system to set daily or weekly cleaning schedules (24/7 programming).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Emptying the Dust Tank

Press the release button to remove the dust tank. Open the tank, empty its contents into a waste bin, and close it securely. It is recommended to empty the dust tank after each cleaning cycle.

4.2 Cleaning Filters

Remove the HEPA filter and primary filter from the dust tank. Tap them gently to remove dust. Do not wash HEPA filters with water; replace them periodically as recommended in the full manual. The primary filter can be rinsed with water and air-dried completely before reinstallation.

4.3 Cleaning Brushes

• Main Brush: Remove the main brush cover and lift out the brush. Use the included cleaning tool to remove tangled hair and debris. For the Best Friend Care silicone brush, simply wipe it clean.
• Side Brushes: Gently pull the side brushes off. Remove any hair or debris. If brushes are worn or damaged, replace them.

4.4 Cleaning the Water Tank and Mop Cloth

After mopping, remove the water tank, empty any remaining water, and rinse it thoroughly. Detach the mop cloth, wash it by hand or machine, and allow it to air dry completely before reattaching or storing.

4.5 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts

Wipe the anti-drop sensors, proximity sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging base with a clean, dry cloth. This ensures proper navigation and charging.

5. Troubleshooting

• Robot does not turn on: Ensure the battery is charged. Place the robot on the charging base and allow it to charge for several hours. Check if the power adapter is securely connected to the base and the wall outlet.
• Robot does not charge: Verify that the charging contacts on both the robot and the base are clean and free of debris. Ensure the charging base is powered.
• Robot gets stuck or navigates erratically: Clean all sensors (anti-drop, proximity). Remove any obstacles or loose cables from the cleaning area. Ensure the wheels are clean and free of tangled hair.

• App connection issues: Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Verify that the robot is within range of your Wi-Fi router. As noted in user feedback, some routers may require the 20Hz channel to be enabled for the 2.4GHz band in addition to the 40Hz channel for successful connection.
• Unusual noises: Check all brushes and wheels for tangled hair or foreign objects. Remove and clean them thoroughly.
