Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the griddle from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the carrier and supplier.
- Placement: Position the griddle on a sturdy, level, non-combustible surface. Ensure adequate clearance (at least 6 inches) from walls and other equipment for proper ventilation. Do not place near flammable materials.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the griddle to a dedicated 120V AC, 60Hz grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the electrical supply matches the appliance's requirements.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe down the griddle surface and exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

Operating Instructions
- Power On: Plug the griddle into a suitable electrical outlet. The "POWER" indicator light (red) will illuminate.
- Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control knob to the desired cooking temperature. The available temperature range is typically from MIN to 490°F (280°F, 350°F, 420°F, 490°F are marked on the knob).
- Preheating: Allow the griddle to preheat. The "READY" indicator light (green) will illuminate when the set temperature is reached. This may take 10-15 minutes depending on the desired temperature.
- Cooking: Once preheated, place food directly onto the griddle surface. Adjust the temperature as needed during cooking.
- Grease Management: Excess grease and food debris will drain into the removable grease tray located at the front of the griddle. Empty the grease tray regularly, especially after each use.
- Power Off: After use, turn the temperature control knob to the "MIN" position. Unplug the griddle from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your griddle and ensure optimal performance.
- Always unplug the griddle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Remove the grease tray and empty its contents. Wash the tray with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Scrape any food residue from the griddle surface using a griddle scraper or spatula.
- Wipe the griddle surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn residue, a non-abrasive griddle cleaner may be used. Rinse thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth to remove all detergent residue.
- Wipe down the exterior stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth. Dry with a soft, clean cloth to prevent water spots.
- Deep Cleaning: Periodically, a more thorough cleaning may be required. Follow daily cleaning steps, and for heavily soiled surfaces, consider using specialized griddle cleaning pads or stones as directed by their manufacturers. Always ensure the griddle is cool.
- Do NOT use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or sharp objects that could scratch or damage the griddle surface or exterior.
- Do NOT use water jets or immerse the griddle in water.
