5. Setup

  1. Select the Desired Tip: Choose between the cutting wire, blade tip, or engraving tip based on your task.
  2. Attach the Tip: Align the chosen tip with the receptacle at the end of the main unit. Gently push and twist until it is securely seated. Ensure a firm connection for proper heating.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Once the tip is attached and the USB cable is connected, slide the power switch on the handle to the 'ON' position. An indicator light may illuminate.
  2. Heating Time: The tool heats up quickly. The cutting wire reaches approximately 180°C, and other tips reach around 320°C. Allow a few moments for the tip to reach its optimal temperature.
  3. Cutting/Engraving: Gently guide the heated tip through the polystyrene or foam material. Do not apply excessive pressure; the heat should do the work. For cutting, maintain a steady, even motion. For engraving, use the pointed tip to draw desired patterns.
  4. Articulated Handle: The handle features a rotating articulation point, allowing you to adjust the angle of the tip for improved ergonomics and access to different cutting positions.
  5. Power Off: After use, slide the power switch to the 'OFF' position and disconnect the USB cable.
  6. Cool Down: Allow the tip to cool completely before handling or storing the tool.
