2. Package Contents

Note: A USB charging cable (Type A to micro B) is sold separately and is required for charging and initial setup.
3. Controller Features
Familiarize yourself with the various components of your DualShock 4 controller:
- Analog Sticks: Improved for greater feel and sensitivity, providing precise control.
- Trigger Buttons (L2/R2): Enhanced for responsive gameplay.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Pairing
- Connect the DualShock 4 controller to your PlayStation 4 system using a micro USB cable (sold separately).
- Press the PS button on the controller. The controller will power on and pair with the system.
- Once paired, you can disconnect the USB cable for wireless use.
4.2 Charging the Controller
The controller contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. To charge:
- Connect the controller to your PlayStation 4 system using a micro USB cable. The system can be on or in rest mode.
- Alternatively, connect the controller to a standard USB charger (sold separately) using a micro USB cable.
The light bar will slowly blink orange while charging and turn off when fully charged. You can check the battery level on the PlayStation 4 system's home screen.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Controls
The DualShock 4 controller provides standard PlayStation controls:
- Analog Sticks: Control movement and camera.
- D-Pad: Navigate menus and perform specific actions.
