Image 3.1: Diagram illustrating the Plug-in Alarm Receiver and Wireless Door/Window Sensor components and their dimensions. The receiver features a power plug, volume buttons, melody selection, and an indicator light. The sensor consists of a main body with an indicator light and a separate magnet.
3.1. Plug-in Receiver
- Power Plug: Connects to a standard electrical outlet.
- Volume Buttons: Adjust the alarm volume (4 levels).
- Melody Button: Cycles through 35 available melodies.
- Indicator Light: Illuminates when an alert is received.
- Speaker: Emits the selected melody.
3.2. Wireless Door/Window Sensor
- Sensor Body: The main unit containing the wireless transmitter and internal components.
- Magnet: A smaller component that triggers the sensor when separated from the sensor body.
- Indicator Light: Flashes when the sensor is triggered or transmitting a signal.
4. Setup and Installation
The HTZSAFE system is designed for easy setup. The sensor and receiver are pre-programmed at the factory. Follow these steps for installation:
4.1. Install the Wireless Door/Window Sensor
- Identify a suitable location on your door or window frame. The sensor body and magnet should be mounted on the same plane, with a maximum gap of 8mm when the door/window is closed.
- Clean the surface thoroughly where the sensor and magnet will be attached.
- Peel the backing from the double-sided adhesive tape and firmly press the sensor body onto the door/window frame.
- Mount the magnet directly adjacent to the sensor body on the moving part of the door/window, ensuring the alignment marks on both parts face each other. The gap between the sensor body and magnet should not exceed 8mm when the door/window is closed.
- Test the installation by opening and closing the door/window. The sensor's indicator light should flash, and the receiver should sound an alarm.

Image 4.1: Example of the wireless door/window sensor installed on a door frame. The sensor (larger part) is on the frame, and the magnet (smaller part) is on the door itself. When the door opens, the magnet separates from the sensor, triggering an alert.
4.2. Plug in the Receiver
- Select a standard electrical outlet in a central location within your property, ideally within 600 feet of the sensor.
- Plug the receiver into the chosen outlet. The receiver will power on and be ready to receive signals from the sensor.

Image 4.2: Visual representation of the wireless transmission range, demonstrating the ability of the signal to pass through doors, walls, and floors up to 600 feet, ensuring coverage throughout a typical home or business.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Adjusting Volume
The receiver has 4 adjustable volume levels. Press the Volume button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the volume settings until you reach your desired level.
5.2. Changing Melodies
The receiver offers 35 classic melodies. Press the Melody button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available tunes. You can select a different melody for each sensor if you expand your system.
5.3. System Operation
When the door or window where the sensor is installed opens, the magnet separates from the sensor body. This triggers the sensor to send a wireless signal to the plug-in receiver. The receiver will then sound the selected melody and its indicator light will flash, alerting you to the open entry point.
5.4. Expanding Your System
The HTZSAFE system is fully expandable. You can add up to 32 additional sensors (including other HTZSAFE solar wireless driveway alarm sensors) and an unlimited number of receivers for comprehensive coverage. Refer to the specific instructions provided with additional sensors for pairing procedures, if required.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
Wipe the sensor and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the device surfaces.
6.2. Battery Replacement (Sensor)
The wireless sensor is typically powered by a coin cell battery. When the sensor's indicator light no longer flashes or the transmission range decreases significantly, it may be time to replace the battery. To replace:
- Carefully open the sensor casing.
- Remove the old battery.
- Insert a new battery with the correct polarity.
- Close the sensor casing securely.
- Test the sensor to ensure proper operation.
Note: Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
