2. Safety Information

  • Do not shine the flashlight directly into eyes. The powerful beam can cause temporary vision impairment or permanent eye damage.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

Before first use, ensure the insulation sheet is removed from the battery compartment. Unscrew the tail cap, insert the 21700 battery with the positive (+) end facing the head of the flashlight, and then screw the tail cap back on securely. An 18650 battery can also be used with the provided adapter.

5.2 Charging

The WUBEN A20 features a built-in Type-C charging port. To charge:

  1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the flashlight body.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the flashlight and a 5V2A power adapter (not included).
  3. The indicator light on the 'W' button will show the charging status:
    • Red Light: Charging in progress.
    • Blue Light: Charging completed.
  4. Charging time is approximately 3 hours for a full charge.

6. Operating Instructions

The WUBEN A20 is operated using a single 'W' button on the side.

6.1 Basic Operation

  • Turn On/Off: Single click the 'W' button to turn the flashlight on or off. The flashlight will remember the last used basic mode (Eco, Low, Mid, High, Turbo).
  • Mode Switching: While the flashlight is on, single click the 'W' button to cycle through the basic modes: Eco → Low → Mid → High → Turbo.

6.2 Continuous Output Level Selection

To adjust brightness continuously:

  1. Double click the 'W' button and hold it.
  2. The brightness will cycle through the output range (from 5 lumens to 4200 lumens).
  3. Release the button when the desired brightness level is reached.

6.3 Special Modes (Strobe & SOS)

  • Activate: Double click the 'W' button from any state (on or off) to activate Strobe mode.
  • Switch to SOS: While in Strobe mode, double click the 'W' button again to switch to SOS mode.
  • Exit: Single click the 'W' button to turn off the flashlight and exit special modes.

6.4 Lockout Function

To prevent accidental activation, especially due to the high output, use the lockout function:

  • Lock: Triple click the 'W' button from any state (on or off). The flashlight will flash briefly to indicate it is locked.
  • Unlock: Triple click the 'W' button again to unlock. The flashlight will turn on in the last used basic mode.

6.5 Battery Power Reminder

The 'W' button also serves as a battery power indicator:

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Threads and O-rings: Periodically lubricate the threads and O-rings with silicone grease to maintain water resistance and smooth operation. Replace O-rings if they appear damaged.
  • Battery Care: If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
  • Lens Care: Keep the lens clean to ensure maximum light output. Use a lens cleaning cloth if necessary.

8. Troubleshooting

If your WUBEN A20 flashlight is not functioning correctly, please try the following:

  • Flashlight not turning on:
    • Ensure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) end facing the head.
    • Check if the battery is charged. Recharge if necessary.
    • Confirm the flashlight is not in lockout mode (triple click to unlock).
