1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the Smartby Universal Remote Control, Model LC-RCRUS-18. This remote is designed to be compatible with various Sharp Roku TV models without requiring any programming or pairing. Simply insert batteries, and it is ready for use.

2. Setup
2.1. Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA alkaline batteries (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Press down on the tab and slide the cover off.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2. Initial Use
Once batteries are correctly installed, the remote control is ready for immediate use. No programming or pairing is required. Point the remote directly at your Sharp Roku TV and press the Power button to begin operation.
3. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the buttons on your Smartby Universal Remote Control. The layout is designed for intuitive navigation of your Sharp Roku TV.

3.1. Button Functions

4. Maintenance
4.1. Cleaning
To clean the remote control, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.
4.2. Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote control's responsiveness decreases or it stops functioning. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries, as this can lead to leakage or damage.
If the remote will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage and damage.
