Setup and Installation
Mounting the Control Box
Select a secure, dry location under the hood of your vehicle for the TRIGGER 4 Plus Control Box. Ensure it is away from excessive heat and moving parts. The unit features a magnetic mount for easy placement, or it can be secured using screws through the mounting tabs.

Figure 2: The main control unit with input wiring connections. Note the RED (12V), YELLOW (Ignition), and BLACK (Ground) wires. Wiring the Control Box
- Red Wire: Connect directly to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
- Black Wire: Connect directly to a reliable chassis ground point on your vehicle.
- Yellow Wire: Connect to an ignition-switched 12V source. This can be done using a fuse tap (not included) on an ignition-only fuse in your vehicle's fuse box. This ensures the unit powers off with the vehicle to prevent battery drain.
Warning: Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent short circuits.
Connecting Accessories
Connect your 12V accessories to the provided wire harnesses. The TRIGGER 4 Plus has four output circuits: two 30 Amp and two 10 Amp. Match the accessory's current draw to the appropriate circuit.

Figure 3: The control unit's output ports (labeled 1-4) and the transparent fuse covers, indicating 30A and 10A circuits. - Each harness has a waterproof connector that plugs into the corresponding port on the control box.
- Route accessory wires neatly and secure them to prevent damage.
Installing the RF Remote
The wireless RF remote module can be mounted on flat or round surfaces using its universal mounting system. It is battery-powered and backlit for visibility.

- Mount the remote in an easily accessible location within the vehicle.
Operating Instructions
Using the RF Remote
Press the corresponding button on the RF remote to activate or deactivate an accessory. The buttons are backlit and provide tactile feedback.
Using the Mobile App (Bluetooth)
- Download the "TRIGGER ACS PLUS" app from your device's app store (iOS or Android).
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your TRIGGER 4 Plus unit.
- Once paired, you can control on/off functions, dimming (for compatible lighting), and flashing modes directly from your phone.
Manual Control
The control box itself has manual buttons (1-4) for individual circuit power. These can be used to activate accessories directly at the unit.
Maintenance
- Fuse Replacement: The control box features LED indicators that illuminate when a fuse is blown. To replace a fuse, carefully remove the transparent cover, replace the blown fuse with one of the same amperage rating (30A or 10A), and re-secure the cover.
- Battery Replacement (RF Remote): When the remote's backlight dims or it becomes unresponsive, replace its internal batteries. Refer to the remote's specific instructions for battery type and replacement procedure.
- Connection Checks: Periodically inspect all wiring connections for corrosion or looseness. Ensure waterproof connectors are properly seated.
- Cleaning: Keep the control box and remote free of excessive dirt and debris. Use a damp cloth for cleaning; avoid harsh chemicals.
Troubleshooting
- Unit Not Powering On:
- Check the main power (red wire) and ground (black wire) connections for secure contact.
- Verify the ignition wire (yellow wire) is connected to a live 12V source when the ignition is on.
- Inspect the main fuse (if applicable) on the red power wire.
- Accessory Not Activating:
- Check the LED indicator on the control box for the specific circuit. If lit, the fuse is blown and needs replacement.
- Ensure the accessory is properly connected to its harness and the harness is securely plugged into the control box.
- Verify the accessory itself is functioning correctly by testing it independently.
- RF Remote Unresponsive:
- Replace the batteries in the RF remote.
- Ensure the remote is within range of the control box (up to 30ft).
- If multiple TRIGGER units are present, ensure the remote is paired to the correct unit (refer to pairing instructions in the full manual, if available).
- Bluetooth App Connectivity Issues:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Restart the app and attempt to reconnect.
- Ensure no other devices are actively connected to the TRIGGER unit via Bluetooth.
- If issues persist, try unpairing and re-pairing the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Low Voltage Cut-Off:
The system includes a low voltage cut-off feature to protect your vehicle's battery. If the battery voltage drops too low, the unit will shut down. Recharge your vehicle's battery if this occurs.
