5. Setup and Operation
5.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the BW-BR4. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the device's charging interface and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The indicator light will show charging status.

5.2 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the MFB button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on.
- Power Off: Press and hold the MFB button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
5.3 Mode Selection (TX/RX)
The BW-BR4 operates in two modes: Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX). Use the TX/RX mode selection switch on the device to choose the desired mode.

5.4 Transmitter (TX) Mode Operation
In TX mode, the BW-BR4 transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth device (e.g., TV, PC) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- Set the mode switch to TX.
- Connect the BW-BR4 to your audio source (e.g., TV, PC) using the appropriate audio cable (3.5mm AUX, RCA, or Optical).
- Power on the BW-BR4. It will automatically enter pairing mode (indicator light flashes).
- Put your Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode.
- The BW-BR4 will automatically search for and connect to your Bluetooth audio device. Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid.
5.5 Receiver (RX) Mode Operation
In RX mode, the BW-BR4 receives audio from a Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and outputs it to a non-Bluetooth audio system (e.g., wired speakers, car stereo).
- Set the mode switch to RX.
- Connect the BW-BR4 to your audio output device (e.g., wired speaker, car stereo) using the appropriate audio cable (3.5mm AUX, RCA, or Optical).
- Power on the BW-BR4. It will automatically enter pairing mode (indicator light flashes).
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), search for "BW-BR4" in the Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
- Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid. You can now play audio from your device through the connected audio system.
5.6 Dual Stream and Multipoint Connection
The BW-BR4 supports connecting to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously in both TX and RX modes.
- TX Mode (Dual Stream): After connecting to the first Bluetooth headphone/speaker, put the second device into pairing mode. Press the MFB button on the BW-BR4 once to search for and connect to the second device.
- RX Mode (Multipoint): After connecting to the first smartphone/tablet, disconnect Bluetooth on the first device. Pair the second smartphone/tablet. Then, reconnect Bluetooth on the first device. The BW-BR4 will maintain connection with both, allowing you to switch audio sources.

5.7 Long Range Connection

5.8 aptX HD and Low Latency Support
The BW-BR4 supports aptX HD for high-definition audio and aptX Low Latency for synchronized audio and video, minimizing delay. For these codecs to function, both the transmitting and receiving devices must also support them.
