5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Mounting the Scope

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe.
  2. Attach the scope to your rifle's Picatinny or Weaver rail using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure the scope is positioned correctly for eye relief.
  3. Tighten the mounting screws securely, but do not overtighten.

5.2 Battery Installation

The rifle scope's illuminated reticle, reflex sight, and green laser sight each require batteries for operation.

  • Rifle Scope Reticle: Locate the battery compartment on the illumination control knob. Insert the required battery type (typically CR2032, check packaging for specifics) with the correct polarity.
  • Reflex Sight: The reflex sight typically uses a CR2032 battery. Open the battery compartment, insert the battery with the positive (+) side facing up, and close the compartment.
  • Green Laser Sight: The laser sight usually requires a CR123A battery. Unscrew the end cap, insert the battery with the correct polarity, and re-secure the cap.

5.3 Initial Adjustments

  • Diopter Adjustment: Look through the scope at a plain background (e.g., a clear sky). Rotate the fast focus ring (ocular lens) until the reticle appears sharp and clear. This adjustment is personal to your eyesight.
  • Parallax Adjustment (if applicable): While this model is 3-9x32EG, some scopes have parallax adjustment. If present, adjust it to match your target distance to eliminate parallax error.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Rifle Scope Operation

  1. Magnification Adjustment: Rotate the magnification ring (located near the ocular lens) to select your desired magnification level from 3x to 9x.
  2. Reticle Illumination: Rotate the illumination control knob (on the left side of the scope body) to turn on the reticle illumination. Select between red and green colors and adjust the brightness through 5 levels. Turn to "OFF" to conserve battery.
  3. Windage and Elevation Adjustment: Remove the protective caps from the windage (side) and elevation (top) turrets. Make adjustments as needed for zeroing. Each click typically represents a specific change in point of impact (e.g., 1/4 MOA). Rotate clockwise to move the point of impact down or right, and counter-clockwise to move it up or left. Replace caps after adjustment.

6.2 Reflex Sight Operation

  3. Power Off: To turn off the reflex sight, press both the "ON RED" and "ON GREEN" buttons simultaneously.
  4. Windage and Elevation Adjustment: Use the small adjustment screws on the side and top of the reflex sight to zero it.

6.3 Green Laser Sight Operation

  1. Activation: Press the button on the laser sight body to turn it on or off.
  2. Adjustment: Use the small hex screws on the laser sight mount to adjust its windage and elevation, aligning it with your point of impact.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Gently wipe away dust and smudges. For stubborn marks, use a small amount of lens cleaning solution. Avoid touching the lenses with fingers.
  • Body: Wipe the exterior of the scope with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

7.2 Storage

  • Store the scope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for extended periods, remove all batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
  • Use lens caps to protect the objective and ocular lenses from dust and scratches.
