5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

The intercom powers on automatically when connected to a 12V power source. The 'Pwr/Xmt' indicator light on the front panel will illuminate when the unit is active.

5.2 Adjusting Volume

Use the 'Driver' and 'Co-Driver' knobs on the front panel to adjust the individual listening volume for each occupant. Rotate clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease.

5.3 Music Input

Connect an audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the 3.5mm 'Music' input jack on the front panel. Audio from the connected device will be played through the headsets. The music volume is typically controlled by the connected device.

5.4 Radio Communication

When a 2-way radio is connected, the intercom facilitates communication through the radio. The 'Pwr/Xmt' light will indicate when the radio is transmitting. Consult your radio's manual for specific Push-To-Talk (PTT) button operation.
