Safety Information

Setup
1. Speaker Placement
For optimal surround sound experience, position the speakers as follows:
- Center Speaker: Place directly in front of the listening position, typically above or below your TV/monitor.
- Front Left/Right Speakers: Position to the left and right of your TV/monitor, equidistant from the listening position.
- Rear Left/Right Speakers: Place behind the listening position, to the left and right.
- Subwoofer: Can be placed anywhere in the room, but often performs best in a corner or near a wall to enhance bass.

2. Connecting Speakers to the Subwoofer
Connect the satellite and center speakers to the corresponding outputs on the rear of the subwoofer using the provided speaker cables. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).

3. Connecting Audio Sources
The system offers multiple input options:
- Bluetooth: For wireless streaming from smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
- USB/SD: Insert USB drives or SD cards into the front panel slots for MP3 playback.
- AUX Input (RCA): Connect devices like CD players, MP3 players, or laptops using the provided AUX cable to the "AUX AUDIO INPUT" on the rear.
- 5.1 Cinch Surround Input: Connect DVD or Blu-ray players for true 5.1 surround sound using the "DVD AUDIO INPUT" on the rear.
- Microphone Inputs: Two 6.3mm jack microphone inputs are available on the front panel for karaoke or voice applications.

4. Power Connection
Once all audio connections are made, connect the power cord to the subwoofer and then to a suitable wall outlet (AC 230 V, 50 Hz). Turn on the power switch located on the rear panel.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Use the power switch on the rear of the subwoofer or the power button on the remote control to turn the system on or off.
2. Input Selection
Press the "INPUT SET" button on the subwoofer's front panel or the corresponding input buttons (SD, USB, AUX, BT, DVD) on the remote control to switch between audio sources.
3. Volume Control
Adjust the master volume using the large knob on the subwoofer's front panel or the "VOL+" / "VOL-" buttons on the remote control. Individual speaker levels (FL, FR, CEN, SL, SR, SW) can be adjusted using the remote control.
4. Bluetooth Pairing
Select "BT" input. The system will enter pairing mode. On your device (smartphone, tablet), search for "auna Areal 653" and connect. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly.
5. USB/SD Playback
Insert a USB drive or SD card into the respective slot. The system will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playback. Use the remote control for track navigation (CH-, CH+) and playback control (AUTO/II).
6. Remote Control Functions
The included remote control provides full functionality for the system:
- Power: Turns the system on/off.
- Input Selection: Dedicated buttons for SD, USB, AUX, BT, DVD.
- Volume Control: Master volume and individual speaker level adjustments.
- Playback Controls: Play/Pause, Next/Previous track (for USB/SD).
- Sleep Timer: Set a timer for automatic shutdown.
- Repeat Function: Repeat current track or all tracks.
- Microphone Inputs: Adjust microphone volume and echo (if microphones are connected).
The remote control requires 2 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included).
