2. Safety Instructions

• Always ensure all parts are securely fastened before placing birds inside the cage.
• This cage is designed for small to medium-sized birds such as lovebirds, cockatiels, conures, and monk parakeets. It is not suitable for larger parrots like African Greys if they are to be confined for extended periods.
• Regularly inspect the cage for any damaged or loose parts that could harm your bird.
• Keep small children and pets away from the cage during assembly to prevent accidents.
• If a bell toy is included, consider removing it for larger or more destructive birds, as metal components could pose a safety risk if broken.
• Ensure the cage is placed on a stable, level surface.

4. Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly is straightforward. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components and compare them with the package contents list.
2. Assemble the Stand: Attach the four legs to the base frame. Install the 360-degree swivel casters into the bottom of the legs.

3. Construct the Cage Base: During step 2 of the cage assembly, ensure the double rail is at the top and the single rail is at the bottom.
4. Identify Back Panel: Note that one of your element 6 pieces (refer to the included diagram) has a stop; this will be the back side of the cage. Install the main access door on the opposite side. This is where you will insert the sliding bottom tray, which will rest against this back stop.
5. Attach Side Walls: When placing the side walls (simply by sliding them into the rails), carefully consider which side you will place the section with the food bowls. It must be accessible from the outside (not against a wall in your home).

6. Install Perches and Feeders: Place the wooden perches and stainless steel feeding bowls in their designated locations. For the exterior perch, ensure the area with holes faces forward to accommodate the ladder.

7. Final Tightening: Assemble all parts without fully tightening the screws. Once you are certain everything is in its correct position, gently tighten all screws without forcing them.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Access Doors and Locks

The cage features a main access door equipped with a button lock to keep your birds secure. Small access doors are also provided for convenient food and water replenishment without disturbing your birds.

5.2. Mobility

The cage is equipped with four 360-degree swivel casters, allowing for easy and smooth movement. You can effortlessly roll the cage in any direction to reposition it for cleaning or to change its location within your home.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is crucial for your bird's health. This cage is designed for simplified maintenance:

• Sliding Tray and Removable Grate: The cage features a sliding bottom tray and a removable grate, making daily cleaning of droppings and debris easy. Simply pull out the tray, clean it, and slide it back in. The grate can be removed for deeper cleaning.
• Anti-Splash Rim: The V-shaped rim at the base of the cage effectively retains seeds and waste, helping to keep the area around the cage clean.
• General Cleaning: Wipe down the cage bars and surfaces regularly with a bird-safe disinfectant or mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and ensure the cage is completely dry before returning your bird.

7. Troubleshooting

• Loose Perches: If the wooden perches feel loose or slippery, especially the interior ones, consider adding additional securing mechanisms. This could include using an exterior perch to brace it or attaching a bowl mechanism that helps stabilize the perch.
• Bird Removing Bowls/Opening Cage: If your bird is able to remove the feeding bowls or open the cage from the bottom, ensure the bowls are properly seated in their holders and that the sliding tray is fully inserted and secured. Some intelligent birds may require additional clips or locks for enhanced security.
