5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Weighing Luggage
- Prepare the Scale: Ensure the scale is powered on and the desired unit is selected (refer to Section 4).
- Attach to Luggage: Loop the weighing strap around the handle of your luggage. Secure the buckle firmly.
- Lift the Luggage: Hold the scale firmly and lift the luggage off the ground. Keep the scale steady and the luggage suspended without touching any surfaces.
- Read the Weight: The display will show the weight. The scale features an automatic hold function, meaning the reading will stabilize and remain on the display for a few seconds after the weight is registered, even if the luggage is lowered.
- Lower the Luggage: Carefully lower the luggage. The scale will automatically switch off after a period of inactivity to conserve energy.

- Activate Tare: While the first item is still suspended and its weight is displayed, press the "unit/tara" button once. The display will reset to zero.
- Weigh Additional Item: Add the second item to the first (e.g., place items into the empty bag). The display will now show only the weight of the added item.

- Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place when not in use.
