Setup and Installation

1. Physical Installation

Choose a suitable location for your camera that provides the desired 180-degree coverage. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the camera's weight. Use the provided sturdy bracket for secure wall mounting.

2. Cable Connection Scheme

Connect the camera to your DVR system following the diagram below. A DC12V 1A power adapter is required but not included with the camera.

  1. Connect the BNC video output of the camera to a video input port on your DVR.
  2. Connect a DC12V 1A power adapter (not included) to the camera's power port.
  3. Ensure your DVR is connected to a monitor with a VGA or HDMI interface for viewing.

3. Camera Working Mode Adjustment (OSD Control)

The camera's default mode is Analog CVBS (1200TVL) for broad compatibility. If you are using a High Definition DVR (AHD/CVI/TVI 1080P), you must change the camera's working mode to match your DVR type to achieve 1080P resolution. Use the OSD joystick for this adjustment.

To change the camera working mode:

  1. Press the middle of the OSD button to access the camera menu.
  2. Navigate to VIDEO SETTING.
  3. Change HD from CVBS to CVI/TVI/AHD according to your DVR type.
  4. Change STANDARD from NTSC to 1080P 30 or 720P 30 according to your DVR type.
  5. Select APPLY & REBOOT to save changes and restart the camera. This step is crucial.

Operating Instructions

Once installed and configured, the camera operates automatically, providing continuous surveillance. Its 180-degree wide-angle lens captures a broad area, minimizing blind spots.

Day and Night Vision

The camera features an automatic IR-Cut filter that switches between day (color) and night (black and white infrared) modes based on ambient light conditions. The 30 IR LEDs activate in low light to provide clear night vision.
