Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the foot massager from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the device on a flat, stable, and dry surface. Ensure there is enough space around the device for comfortable use and proper ventilation.
  3. Power Connection: Insert the power plug into a suitable electrical outlet (AC 220-240V, 50/60Hz). Ensure your hands are dry when handling the plug.
  4. Initial Inspection: Before first use, inspect the device for any visible damage. Do not use if damaged.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your Beurer FM90 Foot Massager:

  1. Positioning: Sit comfortably in a chair and place your bare feet into the foot openings of the massager. Ensure your feet are fully inserted and resting on the massage nodules.
  2. Power On: Press the Power button (usually marked with an 'On/Off' symbol) to turn on the device. The default massage program will typically start.
  3. Selecting Programmes: The FM90 features 3 pre-set programmes. Press the Programme button (often labeled 'P' or with a mode icon) repeatedly to cycle through the available programmes. Each programme offers a different combination of shiatsu and air compression.
  4. Adjusting Air Compression Intensity: Press the Air Compression button (often labeled 'A' or with air pressure icons) to adjust the intensity of the air compression massage. There are 3 intensity levels. Select the level that feels most comfortable.
  5. Activating Heat Function: Press the Heat button (often labeled with a 'Heat' or 'Sun' symbol) to activate the optional heat function. Press again to turn it off. The heat function can be used independently or in conjunction with any massage program.
  6. Duration: A typical massage session lasts 15-20 minutes. The device may have an automatic shut-off timer. Do not use for excessively long periods.
  7. Power Off: After your massage, press the Power button again to turn off the device. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your foot massager.

  • Cleaning the Device:
    • Always unplug the device before cleaning.
    • Wipe the exterior of the massager with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
    • Ensure no water enters the interior of the device.
  • Cleaning the Inner Cover:
    • The inner fabric covers are removable and washable. Carefully detach them from the device.
    • Wash the covers by hand or in a washing machine on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
    • Allow the covers to air dry completely before reattaching them to the massager.
  • Storage:
    • Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
    • Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
    • If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to place it back in its original packaging.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Beurer FM90, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
