Operating Instructions
The Moulinex 1.2.3 Ultimate operates with a simple pulse action. This allows for precise control over the consistency of your ingredients.
- Pulse Operation: With the appliance correctly assembled and plugged in, press down firmly on the top of the motor unit to activate the blades. Release to stop.
- Control Consistency: Use short, quick pulses for coarse chopping or longer pulses for finer results. Monitor the ingredients through the transparent bowl.
- Processing Time: Do not operate continuously for more than 30 seconds. Allow the appliance to rest for at least 2 minutes between cycles to prevent overheating.
- Adding Liquids: For blending or mixing semi-liquids, ensure the hermetic lid is securely in place to prevent splashes.
- Using the Beater (if applicable): If your model includes a beater accessory, replace the chopping blades with the beater and follow the same pulse operation for whipping or mixing lighter ingredients.
- After Use: Once desired consistency is achieved, release the motor unit, unplug the appliance, and wait for the blades to completely stop before disassembling.
Caution: Never attempt to remove the lid or bowl while the blades are still moving. Always unplug the appliance before disassembling.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your Moulinex chopper and mixer.
- Unplug: Always ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Disassemble: Carefully remove the motor unit, then the lid, and finally the blades from the glass bowl.
- Cleaning Removable Parts: The glass bowl, blades, and lid are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them by hand in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry immediately. Exercise extreme caution when handling the sharp blades.
- Cleaning Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Store the appliance in a dry place, ensuring all parts are clean and dry. For safety, store the blades inside the bowl with the lid on.
