1. Unpacking and Placement

2. Power Connection

Connect the power cord securely to the power inlet on the back of the machine, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.

3. Network Connection (Ethernet)

For network printing and scanning, connect an Ethernet cable from your network router or switch to the Ethernet port on the back of the copier. The machine supports network connectivity for seamless integration into your office environment.

4. Paper Loading

Open the paper tray(s) and adjust the paper guides to fit the size of the paper you are loading. Load paper with the print side facing up (or as indicated by the tray diagram). Do not overfill the trays. The machine supports media from A5 to A3 (11 x 17 inches) and various paper weights.

1. Copying

  1. Place your original document face-up in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or face-down on the document glass.
  2. On the touch screen, select the "Copy" function.
  3. Adjust settings such as quantity, color/B&W, paper size, and duplexing as needed.
  4. Press the "Start" button to begin copying.

2. Printing

The MX-2640N supports network printing and AirPrint. Ensure the machine is connected to your network.

3. Scanning

The machine supports Sharp ImageSEND technology for efficient scanning.

  1. Place your original document in the ADF or on the document glass.
  2. On the touch screen, select the "Scan" function.
  3. Choose your desired scan destination (e.g., email, network folder, USB).
